"The 'My Mom Wants This' Scholarship and College Boot Camp is a unique opportunity for students to work closely with a veteran school counselor. "There is a need for students to receive extensive small group and individual support to help them navigate through high school. As a college and career counselor in a public school, I can say students have a lot of questions, they need support, and there is very little time in the day for students to focus on the next steps or what they should be doing.  

"The summer camp is vital because it will allow your student to have a jump start for the 2024-2025 School Year. The good thing about the 6-week boot camp I plan to offer in the Fall is I will work with the students as much as time permits throughout the week. So, they are getting far more than six sessions."
